Special thanks to our vendors (Treasured Memories, Scrap Addicts and Kits Galore) for your help in making the crop a success. And lastly, a big THANKS to all of our friends who helped us out in the planning, organizing and putting on this event. We truly enjoyed the weekend cropping, eating and just hanging with our friends.

Well ladies, it's Wednesday night and this is the final post before the crop!! My car is PACKED and I'm ready to hit the road to Hattiesburg bright and early in the morning!

If on your way to the crop, you see a woman on the road who looks like she could use a fun weekend away, PICK HER UP and bring her with you! We have spots left!

And don't forget your warm clothes! The weather for this weekend in Hattiesburg is mid 60's during the day and 30's at night!

Ok, so I'm not gonna blame this on Anna Bess...

I tried (ineffectively apparently) this morning to work on the crop stuff. I did so WITHOUT coffee. Not a single drop in the house. Not a good thing. Because of my inability to function without caffeine, I forgot to put a space where you can fill in your NAME on the menu submission form. And, as my luck goes, someone filled it out and sent it in, but only one person. SO, if this was YOU, please resubmit WITH your name. I have changed the form and it is (hopefully) good to go!

Still no coffee. Guess I'll have to settle for Diet Coke.

Good Morning PEEPS! Anna Bess and I are getting soooo excited about the crop. We've added a countdown to the right!! We've been working on all of the "little" details.... giveaways, raffles, menu, vendors...you know, THE GOOD STUFF!

If you have signed up for the crop WITH MEALS, we need you to click on the Little Birdie Menu to the right and choose your meals for Friday and Saturday. All you need to do is click the little box next to your choice for each meal and then SUBMIT. We'll take care of the rest! Anna Bess and I are providing a "light" meal for Thursday night, and no we're not telling what it is!

LAST DAY for EARLY BIRD SPECIAL!

HEY everybody! Just in case anybody wants to save a few pennies, I wanted to remind you that today is the very last day for the early bird special. GET YOUR FORM in BEFORE MIDNIGHT! Melissa and I have been making lots of fun plans and to do lists EVEN while we sat on the beach with our families! We are making the most of our time because the countdown is on! We are three months and a few days out and it's becoming very REAL! I'll leave you with a pic. of us waiting forEVER for our food at Dewey's in Destin.

Update on Forms

Good morning Peeps!

Just a quick note to let you know that we have updated the Registration forms so that you can PRINT your form to keep for your records. We have also added a second form titled "Registration Form for payments via POST OFFICE". Please use this form if you are going to MAIL in a check for payment. The registration form will be emailed to us and we will HOLD your spot for 7 (seven) days until your payment is received via the post office.
If payment is not received by the seventh day,

we will have to forfeit your spot at the crop.


Early Registration is in full swing and spots are filling up.

Remember, if you are part of a group,
make sure to have ONE member fill out the Seating Request form.

WHAT'S UP?!?!?!?

HEY! This is Anna Bess, I couldn't let Melissa have ALL of the fun with the blog and........... we both have had major computer issues, SO with that said, I have a few more delectable details to give you "PEEPS".

1. Each one of you will have four feet of cropping space. We are limiting the crop to 100 spaces, so hurry up and get yourselves signed up so you can make the most of YOUR four feet!!!!! I can't WAIT to see what you all CREATE in that space.

2. The Hampton Inn of Hattiesburg has been very gracious to extend to The Little Birdie Croppers the low, low rate of $89.00 a night. Please make sure you mention the crop when you call to make your reservations! The phone number and website are: http://www.hamptoninn.com/ PHONE- (601)264- 8080.

Directions are as follows: From I-59N - Take Exit 65B, at 1st traffic light turn right. From I-59S - Take Exit 65, at first traffic light turn right. From 49N - Take 98W to 59N, and take Exit 65B, turn right at 1st light. From 49S - Take 59S to 65, merge right, turn right at traffic light. From 98E - Turn left at Amoco on Westover Drive. From Pine Belt Airport - Take I-59 to Exit 65. Merge right, turn right at the light.

3. FINALLY, I am SOOO excited about this crop and the goodies we are sharing with you all. This has been a dream of ours for quite some time. Melissa and I, along with our scrappin' squad enjoy hanging out so much, and have so few opportunities to get together that we wanted to create a venue to do JUST that!! We want to provide you with a relaxed atmosphere with no stress to meet schedules or follow rules. If you wanna wear your pj's all day, go ahead. We can even confiscate your cell phone at the door and play mind games with the people who try to interrupt your valuable scrap/friend/relaxation time!!! Our goal is for you all to have the most FUN that you can possibly squeeze out of a weekend, and if you only find time to do one little project.... it's all good! As long as we have given you an opportunity to DREAM. InSPirE. and CReAtE, OUR goal will have been met! HURRY up and join us!

Crop Details

A couple of questions have come up about the crop so we are going to try and answer them as best as we can.

1. What are the actual dates? November 4 - 6 p.m. til midnight, November 5 - 9 a.m. til midnight and November 6 - 9 a.m. til midnight.
2. Are there hotels in the area? Yes and we are working on getting a group rate at the Hampton Inn in Hattiesburg. Details will be posted soon.
3. Will there be vendors? YES!! We are going to have 4 vendors on site. Still working on the final details but we can tell you that Scrap Addicts will definitely be there. We will post others soon.
4. Who will be the food vendors? We will order food from Roly Poly, Newks, Heavenly Ham and Sweet Peppers Deli. We are currently working with the restaurants to finalize a menu from each one. The menu will be available at the crop when you check in.
5. Will there be classes? As of right now, no. Our goal for this crop was not to fill up your day with classes but to give you time to crop and have fun with your friends. (I can say that our gift to you will be something amazing that Anna Bess has come up with. She will have detailed instructions in the packet with your gift and of course will be available at the crop to answer questions.)

Also, a Meal Plan is available for $40. This covers a light dinner on Thursday, and lunch and dinner on both Friday and Saturday. Drinks included.

Anna Bess and I are working hard to finalize all of the details for the crop.

(Turns out this is hard work - ha ha!)

We are in the process of lining up a few restaurants to bring our meals, getting bargain room rates, rounding up some really cool donations for prizes, etc. etc.

What we can tell you now is this....

This Little Birdie...Dream. Inspire. Create. is going to be a small, personal crop

that will focus on art and handcrafted projects. Don't worry, IT'S A CROP! It's what you're coming for and you'll have two days to do so. However, we are trying to put our own creative flair into this event to make it special for YOU!

So, until we finalize EVERYTHING, keep checking back! You never know what secrets we're ready to reveal!
